The Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, representing the towns of Casco, Gray, Naples, Raymond, Sebago, Standish and Windham, is one of the most active chambers in the State of Maine. It is comprised of over 350 business members, employing more than 2,000 people – approximately 75% of all employees in the area. Our goal is to help member businesses increase their visibility, marketability, productivity and business volume.

Tourism is one of the largest industries in our scenic region. This is the top vacation destination in Western Maine. We constantly promote our region and recommend our member businesses to visitors through special events, trade publications, seasonal information centers, the internet, and by phone and mail. We are also a collective voice for local business in municipal and government affairs. We are engaged in economic development and legislative issues that affect the quality of life and the business climate in our region.

• Networking Opportunities: Regular meetings and monthly after-hours Business Breaks offer unparalleled business-to-business networking opportunities in our region.

• Referrals: We make referrals every day in response to visitor inquiries and in the course of conducting daily Chamber business. Our members also refer business to other Chamber members when appropriate.

• Access to Information: News from the Chamber and its members is shared through the director’s bi-monthly e-commerce reports and quarterly newsletters.

• Marketing Opportunities: High visibility advertising is available through our annual Business & Pleasure Guide, with 15,000 copies distributed locally and to visitor information centers in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We maintain a popular website (www.sebagolakeschamber.com) with link options for businesses and we offer charitable event sponsorships, newsletter advertising, and literature displays at two summer information centers on the Rt. 302 corridor. We also offer marketing consultation and technical assistance to new businesses to help them prosper.

• Community Betterment: We actively address community issues that affect the quality of life and the business climate in the Sebago Lakes Region, through partnerships with local town governments.

Our Chamber also hosts or supports a variety of programs throughout the year such as Legislative forums, Job fairs, High School Scholarship programs, Chamber golf tournament, Windham Rotary’s Ice Fishing Derby, Naples Winter Carnival and Chinese Auction, the Wooden Boat Show in Naples, the Chamber’s annual Live & Silent Auction, and regional Season’s Greetings.
