We share a common goal of making our communities great places to live and work and raise a family. The Windham Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) www.windhamworksforme.com is active in many efforts to promote economic investment and improve the quality of life for Windham residents by: - Providing direct assistance to local businesses through its
Business Assistance Program WEDC works to create a positive environment which fosters sound economic development in Windham. It works closely with our Chamber to develop and co-sponsor seminars and programs of interest to the business community. The Maine Small Business Development Center (SBDC), in partnership with the Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce and the Windham Economic Development Corporation, is pleased to announce the opening of a new outreach office located in the Windham Town Hall. Funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development, the Maine SBDC offers small businesses confidential, professional, business management services. Whether you have an established business, or you’re thinking about starting one, our experienced counselors offer confidential business counseling, information resources, and research at no cost to the business owner.
