Primo Cubano: Maine-Made Cuban Music at Hawthorne’s Boyhood Home
Join the Hawthorne Community Association for an unforgettable evening of live Cuban music featuring Primo Cubano, one of Maine’s most popular Latin music groups!
On Saturday, August 1 at 7:00 PM, experience the lively rhythms of traditional Cuban Son music at the historic Nathaniel Hawthorne’s Boyhood Home (40 Hawthorne Road, Raymond). Son originated in rural Cuba and later evolved into one of the primary influences behind today’s Salsa music, making for an evening filled with rich musical history and irresistible dance rhythms.
Admission is $25 per person. Advance reservations and payment are required, as seating is limited. Tickets are non-refundable.
