Business Breaks

Business Breaks are quarterly, after-hours networking events designed to bring Chamber members together in a relaxed, professional environment. These events focus on meaningful connection, visibility, and relationship-building within the Sebago Lakes Region business community.

Business Breaks are open networking events with light structure to support flow and value while keeping the experience welcoming and authentic.

Frequency: Quarterly

Months Held: March, June, September, and November

Time: 5:00PM – 7:00PM

Hosting a Business Break

Hosting a Business Break is an exclusive Chamber member benefit and a great way to showcase your business, space, and team.

Hosting Options

Signature Host – $500

Recognition as the official Business Break host
2–3 minute spotlight opportunity during the event
Ability to highlight your business, space, or theme
Featured recognition in Chamber event promotions
On-site Chamber support and coordination

Co-Host Option – $750 total

Two Chamber members share hosting responsibilities
Shared recognition and spotlight time

Host Responsibilities

Host businesses agree to:

Provide a welcoming space suitable for mingling and conversation
Offer light food or small bites
Provide napkins and basic serving items
Offer a cash bar if alcohol is served (optional)
Maintain appropriate general liability insurance
- If alcohol is served, liquor liability coverage must be in place

Average attendance ranges from 50–100 guests.

What the Chamber Provides

The Chamber will:

Schedule and coordinate the event
Manage registration and attendance
Promote the event through the Chamber website, email, and social media
Coordinate program flow and timing
Provide on-site Chamber representation

Booking Information

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a Business Break date.

Deposit applies toward the hosting fee.

Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event.

Dates are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis within each designated month.
